Just a note for anyone else attempting it, I think the decrease in rnd 37 should read “sc2tog, sc in next 2 around (16 sc)” rather than in next 4 around.

i should have been more clear, sorry!! whenever i write (2sc, sc) around it means to repeat that sequence for that round~ so the stitches for that round will be:
2sc-sc-2sc-sc-2sc-sc = 9 total

THANX! Im only twelve and this was nice and easy, i have made stuffed animals and a lot of other stuff but this was one of the nicest things ive made so thank you so much. My dad wanted me to make something like this and well u helped me =D

Thanks SO MUCH for this pattern, fellow Nathalie/Natalee!!! I found it on Ravelry and it’s *just* the thing for gift-giving. It’s coming together so quickly, I bet I’ll be able to churn out several in the next month or so!

Hi there! Hopefully you check the comments on this every now and again, because I have a question about this pattern.

In the pattern for tree #1, once you have 6 sc in a ring, how do you get 9 stitches from only decreasing by one stitch? (2sc in first sc, sc around would only make 7 stitches total). I’m sure I can do an extra round to increase the number from 7 to 9, I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything.
